About the Journal

The Journal of Oral Diagnosis is the official publication of the Brazilian Society of Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology (SOBEP). Established in 2016, it operates under the registered ISSN 2525-5711. As an open-access, online journal, it is committed to the dissemination of scholarly work without charging publication fees to authors, fully aligning with the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) definition of open access. The journal follows a continuous publication model, with articles undergoing peer review and becoming promptly available to the scientific community upon acceptance. The Journal of Oral Diagnosis is indexed in major databases, including Google Scholar, DIADORIM, ROAD, LILACS, BVS, and Latindex, enhancing its visibility and accessibility to researchers worldwide.
